Adam, I wanted to let you know that I am very pleased with the two Acropora that I ordered from you. The shipment came exactly when I expected it, and your packing was extremely well done. Both corals were not only floated securely with styro, but were also triple bagged in the extra thick bags. There was not a drop of leakage and not a broken branch. There were even enough heat packs to keep them warm shipping to 20 degree weather in Colorado. Because of the climate here, that is important and has been neglected by some sellers I have purchased from. I wanted to follow-up on my previous e-mail regarding the late shipment of my last order. The package did arrive yesterday afternoon which is a day late.   But as of 5:00 today, when I left my lab, it did not appear that the lime/yellow Scolymia and one of the multi-colored mushrooms had survived. The Scolymia had completely deflated and portions of it's skeleton were sticking though the tissue, while the mushrooms had completely disintegrated. Surprisingly, all of the other specimens appear to be thriving. I really thought the extended shipping shock might kill more than just these two items. Thanks for your help.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Cquarium customer service was just as impressive as the corals they sell. I ordered a rose anenome, purple gonipora and a scrolling turbinaria which arrived just as pictured on their website. The packaging was also top notch (I lost count of how many layers of plastic I had to go through!).

Before the coral were shipped I received a call from them informing me that the gonipora had a small bad spot on it, but the coral as a whole was extremely healthy. I elected to go ahead and purchase it and Cquarium knocked off 50% of the price for the gonipora (without me even asking). The gonipora is now thriving in my tank and I expect the small bad spot to heal in a matter of weeks.

Also, I had never purchased an anenome on-line before fearing that I might receive it in poor health or not having the color I originally saw on the website while purchasing. I must say that the rose anenome I received was even more beautiful than I expected and expanded immediately after it was acclimated.

I would gladly do business with this company again.

OK I got my shipment in and everything was A OK. Let me tell you that Cquarium really looks after their business. Airborne somehow had mistyped my address but Adam of Cquarium tracks his shipments and found that the corals were still in SF where they should have been delivered already. Point is if Adam didn't track this shipment we would have been at odds figuring out who gets the short end of the stick because of a miscue by the shipper.

One other note is the packing is as good as it gets. At least 5 layers of double plastic bags and several heatpaks were used. The water of the bags was at a very good temp.

I just received my new baby from Cquarium and mirror Tubs statements about Adam and his business. Everything was meticulously packed and shipped ahead of time. Adam even threw in a couple extra's. I will buy from his beautiful selection of sps again.

I have been very pleased with the corals I have ordered from Adam. I like being able to see the coral I am buying so I don't have to guess what it is going to look like. The corals on the hit and miss pages definitely have unique coloration. I received a goniopora dead on arrival in my first order. He made it very easy to receive a replacement. The replacement goniopora began opening it's polyps immediately when I began acclimating it. It is even larger than the original I ordered. Everything is extremely healthy and looks great in my reef.

Although I always long to order, I have had one problem that I have not
resolved with past orders from you- I still have all the previous corals in
the tank :-) !   Since the fire, I only set up a small tank and there is

has been the bright red goniopora that you sent over a year ago and is nearly

I have ordered from Adam at Cquarium several times and have always gotten exceptional quality  acropora's.   He definitely has some not so common species and the colors are even more rare. I have gotten in the past couple of weeks an acropora microclados table, an acropora acuminata, acropora austera-pink w/blue tips-xtra-large, acropora divaricata-baby blue tips and an acropora polystoma blue also. I have gotten some great pieces of corals from cquarium. They have exceptional red gonipora and blastomussa. I have not found any nicer of these two species from anywhere else. The only problem I have had is with shipping by Airborne Express but Adam has replaced or credited me for any damages induced by Airborne (ie leaving a box of corals at the wrong address in the sun all day) I highly recommend cquarium. The shipment arrived this morning and everything was as the past three times -incredibly beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to ship me the neon hammer. It is very nice and in good health. The blue tangs were in great shape, and are incredibly active and not at all shy. The chevron tang looked a little beat up fin wise and emaciated, but he appears like with a few feeding he will be just fine (I am sure this is just b/c he has just made the very long trip from Cooks Island). Thanks for the great shipment. Since it has arrived I have been wanting to write, but have been waiting for the red gonipora to open up all the way so I could describe it in full detail. The contrasting purple spots in it are amazing and quite beautiful. It is always amazing that the pics in the Hit and Miss section do not do your corals justice. I wish there was some way to truly capture the brilliant colors and most of all fluorescence. The sinularia is breathtaking-it is opening up, and the color is incredible.

Cquarium Rocks.......

I  bought 3 rocks of shrooms 2 days ago from them and they got here to at 10 in the morning.They called me last night to tell me they would be here early. All the of the shroom rocks were open great when the got here. I will but from them again.  (8/29/01 KrakenSeas, From ReefCentral.com

I visited Cquarium yesterday and I was very impressed. They had a lot of nice and unusual corals as stated on their website. I couldn't help myself buying some nice Acros. they had some acros were not even listed on the site like a turquoise humilis, lime valida and others I don't remember.

I got the chance to talk to Adam and he was everything you guys said about him: very helpfull. He even gave me his website prices and I was of course very pleased, I was not sure about my wife since I spent major $$$.

Just recently placed an order for three "Hit or Miss" LPS coral from Cquarium.
A little over a week later, all three coral are doing well. The frogspawn is expanding completely and the calustrea opens for feeding every night. I have fed it about three times now. The hammer has not expanded completely yet - I'm gonna have to find a new place in the tank for him.
Even though the delivery took an additional 24 hours due to fog at my local airport, the corals were all in good shape when I got them. Adam is a good guy and the specimens were packed very well.

Cquarium is my lfs so i can't tell you about ordering from them but i can tell you he has the best lfs in the area. all the other stores(3 or 4) livestock i have had problems with, but always had good luck wiht theirs. gmsalty, Toledo, Oh (from Reefcemtral BB 2/2/01).

I ordered from www.Cquarium.com when I lived in Chicago about 2 years ago & I was very pleased with them. Back then Cquarium used FedEx and I had a problem with the shipement being delayed for a couple of hours and I didn't have to pay for shipping.

Luckly I moved to Michigan and Cquarium is about 1 hour drive and I visit them often since they are on the way to my in laws. Adam has been very nice. They do have a very nice set up and great selection of corals.

I have been in this hobby for over 20 years.  In the that time I have tried a large number of mail order companies for live stock as well as supplies.  This has been necessary not only to save money, we are all aware of the tremendous markups in the retail stores, but also to find better quality and selection of livestock.

 I will not give a second order to a company that I do not consider to be good.  To be good they have to provide quality products, they have to do very good job of packing for transport, and they have to use a reliable transport company for shipping.  Most companies have not met this criteria.  If I count the number of good companies on my fingers I just barely fill one hand.  SeaQuarium is not one of those good companies.  They have proven themselves to be one of the very rare exceptional companies, to date I only know of 3 such companies.  To be exceptional they do not have to meet the previous qualities but also have competitive prices.  It is very rare to get quality combined with competitive prices.  As a bonus, SeaQuarium also provides very good customer service.  I highly recommend them, they are great.
