Cquarium.com was established by Adam Atassi in 1990.  Adam has been a serious hobbyist since early 80's & became more infatuated with the reef  hobby since mid 80's.  "I was very fortunate to experience the explosion of the reef  hobby when it was first introduced by Albert Theil & Martine Moe".  During the days of  Adam's college days, Adam worked at various fish stores in the Toledo area & felt that there is a lot to be learned and to be shared with others about this unique hobby.  After pursuing a B.S. degree in Computer Science & Math from the University of  Toledo, Adam chased his dreams & passion for the reef hobby & opened up the first store back in 1991. 

Adam has traveled the world looking for the best suppliers & shippers in the business.  With the success of the retail of SeaQuarium, 1998 was a big step to start selling  live stock with fair prices nationwide.  Cquarium.com was established on the same principles of providing high quality live stock as they have been doing it since 1991.
